Economic downturn hits hip-hop

Rapper Jean Grae is selling rhymes through a craigslist ad. I’d say $800 isn’t a bad deal for a Jean Grae track. Wouldn’t be surprised if we start seeing these productions-for-sale on ebay soon.. So, the economy sucks…. Teamsters Union for DJs

I’m not sure how effective a union for DJs will be, unless they actually manage to recruit a significant number of DJ’s. If one unionized DJ demands higher pay the venue will likely just move on to the next DJ. Sad, but it’s reality. More at Crate Kings
